Dame Antonia Byatt won a Booker Prize for her novel 'Possession: A Romance' in 1990 which brought her worldwide acclaim. She has had an Academic career and produced works of literary editing as well as published fiction.
A.S Byatt's other novels include 'The Virgin in the Garden' (first in a series of four), 'The Matisse Stories' and more recently 'The Biographer's Tale'. 'Her novella 'Morpho Eugenia' was made into the 1995 film 'Angels & Insects'.
